Pollo Pablano ala Casa Real
Demonstrated at Fall Fair, Puyallup Washington, September, 1997
Ingredients
- Chicken thighs cut in small pieces then marinate in mix of orange juice, lime juice and pineapple juice.
Charbroil chicken until cooked through.
- Spanish rice cooked
- Red and Green Bell Peppers chopped and sautéed
- White Onion chopped and sautéed
- Fresh Mushrooms sliced and sautéed
- Cheddar Cheese Shredded
- Mozzarella Cheese Shredded
Gently toss all together. Just before serving stir in sauce (below) to make soupy. May serve over additional Spanish Rice.
To make sauce mix together:
- white sauce* *roux of flour, butter and milk
- sour cream
- cumin
- paprika
- garlic salt
- white pepper
