Tuna Noodle Crisp – Grammy’s Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 4 oz. Noodles Uncooked
  • 1/4 C. Shortening
  • 1/3 C. Onion Chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. Green Pepper Chopped
  • 1 can Concentrated Cheese Soup
  • 1/2 C. Milk
  • 1 Tbsp. Pimento optional
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1/8 tsp. Pepper
  • 1 can Tuna
  • 1/2 C. Bread Crumbs

Instructions
 

  • Cook noodles; drain.
  • Melt shortening in skillet, cook onions and green pepper till tender.
  • Stir in soup, milk and seasonings.
  • Bring to a boil, add noodles and tuna.
  • Spread in greased 1 1/2 qt. casserole dish. Top with bread crumbs.
  • Bake at 350° F. 25-30 minutes or till hot and bubbly.
