Camp MiVoDen Granola

“The best granola recipe ever.”

Ingredients
  

  • 3 C. Grapenuts Cereal
  • 3 C. Whole Wheat Flour
  • 8 C. Old-fashioned Oats
  • 1 C. Wheat Germ
  • 1 1/2 C. Coconut
  • 1 C. Sunflower Seeds
  • 1 1/2 C. blanched slivered Almonds
  • 1/4 C. Sesame Seeds
  • 1 Tbsp. Salt
  • 4 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 2 C. Brown Sugar
  • 1 C. Oil
  • 1 C. Hot Water
  • 1 Tbsp. Cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Mix: Grapenuts Cereal, Whole Wheat Flour, Old-Fashioned Oats, Wheat Germ, Coconut, Sunflower Seeds, Slivered Almonds and Sesame Seeds together well.
  • Then add a mix of: Salt, Vanilla, Brown Sugar, Oil, Hot Water and Cinnamon.
  • Toss all together well until thoroughly homogenous.
  • Put on trays and bake at 250 degrees for 45 minutes. Stir the mix well, breaking up larger
  • chunks and rotate pans. Reduce heat to 160 degrees for 20 minutes more.
