Camp MiVoDen Granola
“The best granola recipe ever.”
Ingredients
- 3 C. Grapenuts Cereal
- 3 C. Whole Wheat Flour
- 8 C. Old-fashioned Oats
- 1 C. Wheat Germ
- 1 1/2 C. Coconut
- 1 C. Sunflower Seeds
- 1 1/2 C. blanched slivered Almonds
- 1/4 C. Sesame Seeds
- 1 Tbsp. Salt
- 4 tsp. Vanilla Extract
- 2 C. Brown Sugar
- 1 C. Oil
- 1 C. Hot Water
- 1 Tbsp. Cinnamon
Instructions
- Mix: Grapenuts Cereal, Whole Wheat Flour, Old-Fashioned Oats, Wheat Germ, Coconut, Sunflower Seeds, Slivered Almonds and Sesame Seeds together well.
- Then add a mix of: Salt, Vanilla, Brown Sugar, Oil, Hot Water and Cinnamon.
- Toss all together well until thoroughly homogenous.
- Put on trays and bake at 250 degrees for 45 minutes. Stir the mix well, breaking up larger
- chunks and rotate pans. Reduce heat to 160 degrees for 20 minutes more.
