Cinnamon Rolls
Best served warm and fresh from the oven.
Ingredients
- 1/2 C. Warm Water
- 2 Packages Yeast
- 2 Tbsp. Sugar
- 2 3.5oz Pkg. Vanilla instant Pudding made according to Pkg instructions.
- 1/2 C. Melted Butter or Margarine
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 12 C. All-purpose Flour
- 1 C. Soft Butter
- 2 C. Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
Cream Cheese Frosting
- 8 oz. Cream Cheese – softened to room temp
- 1/2 C. Margarine or butter – softened to room temp
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
- 3 C. Powder Sugar
- 1 tsp. Milk
- Mix well and Spread in top of rolls
- Best served warm and fresh from the oven.
Instructions
- Dissolve: warm water, yeast and 2Tbsp sugar together.1/2 C. Warm Water, 2 Packages Yeast, 2 Tbsp. Sugar
- Then add: pudding, butter, eggs and salt.2 3.5oz Pkg. Vanilla instant Pudding, 1/2 C. Melted Butter or Margarine, 2 Eggs, 1 tsp. Salt
- Mix together and add the flour.12 C. All-purpose Flour
- Cover and let rise until doubled in size.
- Roll out until you have a think even rectangle of dough.
- Spread with a mixture of: butter, brown sugar and cinnamon.1 C. Soft Butter, 2 C. Brown Sugar, 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- Roll the sheet of coated bread up to make a long log.
- Cut into circles to make rolls. (can use unflavored floss to cut or a sharp knife)
- Set rolls cut side up, in a baking dish.
- Let rise until doubled in size again.
- Bake at 350°F. for 15-30 minutes.
- Do not over bake remove from the oven when golden brown.
Cream Cheese Frosting:
- Mix well and Spread in top of rolls.8 oz. Cream Cheese – softened to room temp, 1/2 C. Margarine, 1 Teaspoon Vanilla, 3 C. Powder Sugar, 1 tsp. Milk
