Alaskan Salmon – Auntie Liz’s Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 lb Salmon
- 2 Tbsp. Lemon or lime juice
- 2 Tbsp. Dry White Wine or red wine
- 2 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp. Sesame Oil
- 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
- 1 Tbsp. Fresh Ginger peeled & minced
- 1 Tbsp. Garlic minced
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
- 1/8 tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
Instructions
- Mix all liquid ingredients together to make marinade.
- Marinate salmon for from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
- Cover in baking dish in refrigerator.
- When ready to cook, cover with foil and bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes for each 1 inch of salmon’s thickness.
- Serve over Basmati rice cooked with chicken stock.
- May add sautéed mushrooms, celery, green onions, parsley and/or cilantro – all optional.
