Alfredo Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. Butter
- Minced Garlic optional
- 2 Tbsp. Flour
- 1/2 C. Heavy Cream
- 1/2 C. Strong Chicken Stock
- Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Black and White Pepper
- Fresh Basil chopped
Instructions
- Melt butter, lightly brown the garlic. Add the flour and stir while cooking for 1 minute.
- Add cream and chicken stock and simmer, stirring constantly to make and keep smooth and silky.
- Add cheese and seasonings to taste, stirring well after each addition.
- Heat gently till hot.
- Serve over pasta or as a sauce for pizza.
