Black licorice Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 4 C. Half-n-Half
- 1 C. Sugar
- 1/8 tsp. Anise Oil from the drug store
- 2 C. Heavy Whipping Cream
Instructions
- Stir together half-n-half and sugar until sugar has dissolved.
- Add anise oil and heavy cream.
- Mix all together and freeze in ice cream maker.
- Towards the end, may stir in chopped pieces of ribbed black licorice (not the smooth kind).
- Serves 5-6.
- Can add black food coloring for a cool effect.
