Cherry Pie – Canandaigua
Ingredients
- Pastry for Two-Crust Pie
- 1 1/3 C. Sugar
- 4 drops Almond Extract
- 1/3 C. Flour
- 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon optional
- 4 C. Sour Pie Cherries Fresh
Instructions
- Line 9” pie pan with bottom crust. Mix remaining ingredients together gently, then spread in crust; add top crust, cutting air vents.
- Bake at 425°F until crust is nicely browned and juice begins to bubble through vents, about 35-45 minutes.
- Serve slightly warm, not hot.
