Fettuccini Alfredo – Lasia A Roga’s recipe adapted by Jean Edstrom
Ingredients
- Fettuccini Noodles
- 1/2 C. Unsalted Butter
- 1 C. Heavy Cream
- 1/2 C. Romano Cheese grated
- 1/4 C. Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated. Please, please use cheese off the block- the flavor!!
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a rapid boil; add fettuccine noodles and boil for 10-12 minutes; they should be done when sauce is done.
- In a large skillet, immediately begin to make the sauce, melting the butter over medium heat; add cream, blending with circular stirring motions.
- Add cheeses gradually, blending each addition in well.
