White Nacho Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 C. Cream can do 1/2 milk
- 1 C. Sour Cream
- 1 Teaspoon Chicken Base
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 2 Tablespoons Flour
- 3 Pickled Jalapeños minced (to taste)
- 1 Tablespoon Juice from bottled Jalapeños
- 4 oz. Shredded Cheese – equal parts Jack and Cheddar to taste
Instructions
- Make a roux by melting butter in a saucepan over med heat then add flour and whisk.
- Cook until pale gold. Add chicken base and jalapeño juice. mix until smooth.
- Slowly add cream to mix and stir until smooth again, then add sour cream.
- When sour cream has melted and incorporated add cheese mix.
- Serve hot with corn chips.
