Couscous Recipes
Ingredients
Couscous: (granular semolina= coarse ground durum wheat)
- 1 C. Couscous
- 2 C. Water
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
Pearl Couscous: (toasted Israeli-style pasta)
- 1 C. Pearl Couscous
- 1 1/4 C. Water
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1 tsp. Butter
Instructions
Couscous:
- Bring salted water to a boil; add couscous. Reduce heat to simmer for 2 minutes then remove from heat, cover and let sit 10 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving.
Pearl Couscous:
- Bring water to a boil; add couscous, salt and butter. Cover and simmer for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
