Hummus - Kerstin's AMAZING hummus!

Ingredients
1 ½
C.
of Canned Chick Peas
drained and rinsed, or cooked from dried beans
¼
C.
Tahini
sesame paste
3
Tbsp.
Lemon Juice
3
Tbsp.
Olive Oil
2-3
Cloves
Garlic
minced
¼
tsp.
Hot Sauce
½
tsp.
Ground Cumin
optional
½
tsp.
Salt
Parprika or Za'atar
for garnishing to serve
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and puree.
Place in bowl or on a platter, sprinkle with paprika or Za'atar (see below)
Serve with pita wedges, chips and chopped veggies.
Notes
Za'atar is a Middle Eastern spice blend made usually of dried herbs (such as thyme or marjoram), dried sumac, and sesame seeds.
