Preheat oven to 350 degrees prepare a 8x8 pan with butter and flour to prevent sticking.
Mix all dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl and stir to blend.
Mix together all liquid ingredients, including the melted butter together and pour all at once into the dry mixture.
Pour batter into prepared baking pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until the gingerbread is gently firm to the touch.
Cool about 10 minutes in the pan before turning out into a cooling rack or plate.
