Alfredo Sauce - Kerstin's version

Ingredients

Tbsp.
Butter
Minced Garlic
optional - as much as your heart desires
2
Tbsp.
Flour
1/2
C.
Heavy Cream
1/2
C.
Strong Chicken Stock
Parmesan Cheese
freshly grated
Black and White Pepper
Fresh Basil
chopped
Instructions
Melt butter and lightly brown the garlic.
Add the flour and stir while cooking for 1 minute.
Add cream and chicken stock and simmer, stirring constantly, to make and keep a smooth and silky consistency.
Add cheese and seasonings to taste, stirring well after each addition.
Heat gently till hot.
Pour over your favorite pasta or pasta replacement. I really like it over "zoodles" or angel hair pasta.
Garnish with fresh basil.
