Light Brown Sugar

Vinegar

fresh Lemon Juice

Water

Cinnamon

tsp.
Ground Cloves
1/4
tsp.
Allspice

tsp.
Salt
Instructions
Coarsely grind tomatoes and apples. Grind suet, if using.
Combine all ingredients in large kettle.
Bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
Reduce heat and stir till thick and dark, about 2 1/2 hours. (An asbestos pad will prevent scorching)
Pour boiling mixture in hot pint jars, leaving 1/2” of headspace, and apply hot seals and rings.
Process in boiling water bath for 25 minutes.
