Rhubarb Pie - Grammy's Famous Pie

Ingredients

C.
flour
1/4=
tsp.
Orange zest
1/8=
tsp.
Salt
6
C.
Rhubarb
1/2” pieces
3
Tbsp.
Butter
1
shake
Nutmeg
optional
Instructions
Combine sugar, flour, orange zest and salt; add to rhubarb.
May add a drop of two or red food coloring, if desired.
Place in pastry-lined 10” pie pan and dot with butter.
Adjust top crust and flute edges to make a high-standing rim; cut vents.
(lattice top is an attractive alternative top crust)
Bake at 425°F for 40-50 minutes or until juice begins to bubble through the vents and crust is golden brown.
Partially cool before eating.
