Tea Biscuits
"Is it even tea time without a good biscuit with jam?"
- 2 C. Flour
- 1/4 C. Butter
- 1 ½ Tbsp. White Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 C. Crisco
- 4 tsp. Baking Powder
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 C. Milk
Mix dry ingredients together and rub in the butter with your fingers.
Combine eggs and milk and add to dry mixture to form soft dough.
Knead as little as possible on lightly floured board.
Roll out dough to 1/2” thick and cut into desired shapes.
Bake 450° 12-15minutes.
